Free Concert Series Down on Main Announces Concert Lineup
Tupelo, MS—Returning for its fourth year, the “Down on Main” concert series kicks off the first of three events on July 12 at Fairpark Amphitheater in Downtown Tupelo. Each event will be held on the second Thursday of the month in July, August, and September. All concerts are free and open to the public. Tickets on sale for Wine Downtown
Tickets are on sale for this month’s Wine Downtown event. They are $25 in advance and $30 on April 26, when the event kicks off at 5 p.m. The last two years, the event has sold out in advance so organizers said tickets might not be available at the door. The Downtown Tupelo Main Street Association is selling 300 tickets for the event, which is 50 more than last year. Sixteen businesses are hosting stops this year for the fourth-annual event. Downtown Tupelo to Host a Restaurant Week
TUPELO - Downtown Tupelo restaurateurs are discussing creating a restaurant week in September. Blair Hughes, owner of Park Heights in Fairpark, hopes to have a week in September full of food specials and good times. She met last week with the restaurant subcommittee of the Downtown Tupelo Main Street Association to flesh out the idea. Romie’s Barbeque and Papa V’s Deli also were represented at the meeting. Mugshots will be new Fairpark eatery
TUPELO - Mugshots Bar & Grill is coming to Fairpark. Mayor Jack Reed Jr. on Tuesday said he was excited about the new restaurant during his presentation to the Tupelo Redevelopment Agency, which governs the development of Fairpark.
